Falan Mango – Fruit & Tree Description

Fruit Description:

The Falan mango produces medium to large, elongated fruit with smooth, golden-yellow skin when ripe, often with a light green blush. The flesh is deep yellow, very low-fibre to fibreless, and exceptionally sweet with a mild tropical aroma. It has a rich, creamy texture and a small seed, making it popular for both fresh eating and desserts. Flavour is comparable to premium Thai dessert mangos — sweet with low acidity.

Tree Description (Semi-Compact):

The Falan mango tree is considered semi-compact, making it ideal for home gardens and small orchards. It grows to approximately 3–4 metres with regular pruning and forms a dense, rounded canopy. The tree is precocious (early fruiting) and highly productive once established. It performs best in warm, frost-free climates, is drought-tolerant once mature, and responds well to pruning for size control.
